In the last update, several bugs were reported soon after it was released:

Error messages: "Unable to create directory" and "Access violation in dvd2dvd.dll".

We did not encounter these errors during our beta testing and as of yet have not been able to replicate these errors. Due to the large number of problem reports, we have rolled back our new code implemenation to the previous code base.  However, this new update still includes the CPRx update for movies like "Twilight - New Moon".

If you are using DVD43 as your decrypter, we also recommend you get the latest version of DVD43 (version 4.0) to avoid decryption errors on some newer DVD movies.

We also added a new (right click popup) option to disable some software DVD players which come preinstalled on the DVD (like "Interactive Media Player") which start up when you first insert a DVD and may interfere with the reading of the DVD.

We have improved the reading of RW DVDs and backup DVDs as well.

The application now notifies users to temporarily disable AnyDVD during burning if they are formatting a RW disc on Vista (This warning does not apply to +R and -R DVDs). It appears that AnyDVD blocks the format command sent to the DVD writer. If you disable AnyDVD, then the format command gets to the writer correctly.

Changes:
An updated burn engine - more support for SATA and new high speed writers.

Patin Couffin device driver installation has been improved - the progress bar no longer masks the driver certificate popup (first time driver is installed on Vista).

A new DVD access layer which uses SPTI (Patin Couffin is no longer required but is installed as the default writing layer). By default, SPTI is used for reading, Patin Couffin for writing. If Patin Couffin is not installed or it's disabled, SPTI will be used for reading and writing.  Win98 does not support SPTI, so Patin Couffin must be used for reading and writing on this OS.

The new SPTI access layer now supports AnyDVD's "safe mode" setting.

Support has been added for copying DVDs which are authored with a corrupt UDF file system (these DVDs can't be played on Microsoft Media Center or Windows Media Player - it's a sad day when they go this far to protect a movie).

Support for language localization added (French language supported, others will follow).

Logging of DMA mode for DVD devices has been added.

5.1.1.9 (March 20, 2007) Updates: This version includes a CPRx update for movies that are authored similarly to "Casino Royale" and "The Holiday", which may contain bad sectors. Bug Fixes: We no longer check hard disc space if we are doing an exact copy from a folder (no caching required). Added: If you attempt to overwrite data in a "Destination" folder with the same name as the current DVD volume, you will get a warning message.

5.1.1.6 (Feb 8, 2007) Bug fix: CPRx was permanently enabled since version 5.1.1.5. This has now been fixed and it can be enabled or disabled using the "Enable CPRx error correction" option.

5.1.1.5 (Feb 3, 2007) Bug fix: Changes to the menu item "Enable CPRx error correction" were ignored, despite the interface showing the correct information. Added title/menu number to the log file to assist in identifying the location of bad sectors.

5.1.0.7 (Jan 22, 2007) Per-machine application data files (1click.log and settings.ini) are now stored in the public documents folder (all versions of Windows, including Vista). This prevents virtualization of common application data if the application is used by more than one user on Windows Vista. Write permission (on Vista) for the Destination and Temporary folders are now checked when a user attempts to change folder using using either browse folder buttons.

Vista Users will now be prevented from writing to folders in which they have no permission to write (unless they are admin users). If this is not done, Vista (32 bit) will virtualize your writes and the data will appear in the VirtualStore (not where you expect it).
The option to "Delete Working folder after successful burn(s)" which appeared in the "Burn DVD" window (just prior to burning) has been removed since it is superseded by the right click option "Delete temporary files".

4.2.9.7 CPRx has now been completely integrated in all copy modes. Prior to this change you were forced to choose from transcoding (with or without compression) when making an "Exact copy" (using Dual Layer media) of a DVD with bad sectors, unless you were using the PRO version. Now CPRx is available now in all copy modes in the regular 1CLICK DVD COPY. CPRx error correction can now be enabled or disabled using the 'F3' keyboard key. We recommend you do not disable this feature unless you have another program (like AnyDVD for example) which will do the error correction for you. The current CPRx error correction is now indicated in the log file. Update Notification can now be enabled or disabled using the 'F4' keyboard key. We recommend you do not disable this feature, otherwise you will not be notified of new updates.

4.2.9.6 This update improves the CPRx error handling.

4.2.9.5 Fixed a problem copying DVDs made with personal DVD recorders. Some DVD recorders do not author DVDs according to spec, which in some cases made them appear corrupted.

4.2.9.4 Fixed the "Current Title %" progress display problem. 1CLICK now forces Internet Explorer (for displaying html pages) if a default browser has not been enabled. 1CLICK will now disable AnyDVD's "Safe Mode" option which is not compatible with most DVD Copy software. The "?" button will now only show the help guide. Previously, if the software was not registered, it would show the registration window when clicked. The registration window will always appear if the software is not registered, unless the software is in trial mode. During the trial you can answer "Yes" when asked if you want to register, or force the registration window to appear anytime using the "F2" keyboard hot key.

4.2.9.3 - NEW! Includes CPRx™ technology to facilitate copying DVDs with bad sectors and bad DVD structure. Updated registration dialog which auto registers new versions. Update notification when new versions are available for download. Improved functionality of the "?" button to give the User Guide when the application is registered. 4.2.9.2 Improved movie PGC selection in movies with seamless branching (wrong PGC selection could have resulted in no audio or incorrect audio track).

4.2.9.1 Fixed a bug in the 4.2.9.0 setup program (not the combo setup) which caused the error ('Burn engine not installed") because of a bad installation path. Latest version detects absence of Patin Couffin DVD device driver (when CopyToDVD is uninstalled for example) and re-installs it automatically. New hot keys added:  F7 opens the "c2cd.log" file, F8 opens "1click.log" file and F9 launches the CopyToDVD Properties (burn engine settings) dialog.

The combo setup program has been removed from download page - both programs can be installed separately. 1CLICK DVD COPY will no longer use the CopyToDVD engine in the VSO folder, it will now use it's own CopyToDVD engine in the application folder. CopyToDVD can be updated or removed - 1CLICK DVD COPY is not dependent on the version of CopyToDVD installed.

Beta 4.2.1.0 Solves the DVD caching problem of Windows XP.  All reading is now done at the device driver level, including reading of IFO files.  This works around the problem of Windows caching the previous DVD since no calls are made to the Window I/O functions anymore.  Minor fix: replaced the broken link to FAQ page with a link to our website FAQ page.

4.2.0.9 Fixed a bug which caused errors when doing an "exact copy" of a DVD that also includes files only playable on a computer. Fixed a bug which showed the wrong error message: "Access layer is either not present or outdated..." instead of "...This DVD is encrypted..." when trying to make an exact copy of an encrypted disc without a decrypter active.

Low level reading bypasses Windows I/O calls and will always see the real content of the DVD, not what Windows had cached from the previous disc. 4.1.1.8 Fixed "Kernal32.dll" exception error which occurred on Win98 and WinMe. This was caused by an incompatible "Patin Couffin" DVD device driver released by VSO in their latest burning engine update and CopyToDVD SE (version 3.0.49). All new versions of 1Click DVD Copy (including 4.1.1.8) will be compatible with the new device driver, while previous versions of 1Click DVD Copy (running on Win98 and WinMe) are not compatible with the new driver, so users must update their 1Click DVD Copy if they wish to use the new CopyToDVD (version 3.0.49 and beyond).

4.1.1.7 Updated the burning engine and CopyToDVD SE to version 3.0.49 which improves stability over the version 3.0.47 burn engine and CopyToDVD SE.
